The Clash at Twickenham 2017

On behalf of Bath Rugby, Progress Productions delivered a ‘must attend’ day out for both traditional rugby supporters and families alike - a truly unique event that stood out from a congested fixture list and set a new standard for the delivery of a domestic rugby match, surpassing the level of production provided for any normal international or club fixture that takes place at Twickenham Stadium.

The 61,868 spectators that attended on the day were entertained by an innovative and creative programme that included a bespoke themed fan zone with a distinct flavour of Bath; a pre-match spectacular including a 7m fire breathing horse supported by a cast of pyrotechnic performers, acrobats and drummers; cutting edge sport presentation; and of course an outstanding display of world class rugby that saw Bath come from behind to secure a crucial victory. And once the action was over on the pitch spectators celebrated in the spring sunshine and enjoyed the after party featuring live music.

The Clash 2017 was unlike any other rugby experience on offer throughout the season and delivered true value for money for spectators, enhancing their day out with a unique entertainment experience.
